I decided to experiment with this exercise and tried to manipulate Willem Jonkers work by shooting from the ground up to capture people from a different perspective. Willem used a wide angle 28mm lens and I had my 50mm prime lens so the results werent going to be exactly the same but the concept would be. I stood to the side of the street near the shop windows so unaware people would not trip over me as I was kneeling down. I did struggle with this idea a bit trying to get the exposure right because if I tilted the camea to much the sky would over expose my image. It was an overcast day and shooting around midday at its brightest made it a bit more chllenging than I hoped for eperimenting with a new idea to me.

This is the image I am most pleased with using this technique I like the fact that she is looking down and away fom the camea and I am shooting up at her. Shooting from the ground gives this woman a sense of height. It does not have the same effect as Willemm Jonkers but if I had never found his work then I would nt of thought to shoot fromthis perspective.
